A continent of choices, not a single admission system

Understand your European medical-study options.

01

“MBBS in Europe” is a useful search term, not a single qualification or admission system. Many universities award a primary Medical Doctor qualification or national equivalent; this is not the same as an Indian postgraduate MD. Match the degree, campus and training route—not just the country name.

Europe ≠ European Union ≠ Schengen. A geographic destination, an EU qualification, travel permission and a medical licence are different things. Georgia and Ukraine are not EU member states. Near East University is in Northern Cyprus, where EU legislation is suspended in the area outside the Republic of Cyprus government’s effective control. Do not infer a standard EU licensing route. [13] [31]

Why consider a European medical programme?

Structured medical education

Compare integrated science teaching, clinical skills, assessment and the actual study plan—not a generic six-year syllabus.

Clinical learning that matters

Investigate hospital attachments, patient contact, supervision and the language you need to communicate safely.

An international learning environment

Explore research, student support and cultural experience while checking the conditions of any elective or exchange.

These are factors to investigate, not guarantees of teaching quality, unrestricted mobility, admission or future employment. This guide focuses on the original destinations and selected official comparisons—not every medical school in Europe.

School credentials, NEET and university selection

Eligibility: check the route, not a blanket cutoff.

There is no universal European PCB cutoff, IELTS waiver or “NEET-only admission” rule. Check Indian requirements and the exact university’s selection process separately.

RequirementWhat to check
Indian/OCI applicant [25]Qualifying NEET and underlying Indian academic, subject, age and category conditions. NMC states a three-year validity period from result declaration for the relevant foreign-medical-study purpose.
RSU, Latvia [5] [6]Published Medicine guidance includes English and Biology and/or Chemistry at the stated 70% minimums, compulsory Mathematics and competitive school results. B2 English evidence; IELTS 6.0 is one accepted route, with an English-medium-school route also described. Country equivalence and the current admissions procedure control.
LSMU, Lithuania [7]Recognised secondary qualification, school Biology/Chemistry, English evidence and a motivational interview plus science entrance test, unless an official exemption applies. Its published NEET 650 test-exemption threshold is not the general Indian NEET qualifying cutoff.
University of Malta [8]International qualification equivalence and special Biology/Chemistry requirements. Non-Maltese applicants generally need Medical Maltese before starting, with specified alternatives/exemptions. Do not convert its A-level requirements into a made-up CBSE percentage.
Gdańsk, Poland [10]School-subject assessment plus entrance testing/interview under the applicable route; selection is competitive. Recognised documents, language evidence and any route-specific exemptions still matter.
English-taught does not mean local-language-free. Confirm English instruction and assessment across the course and training, while separately preparing for patient communication and professional-language requirements.

For unequal years, use the complete-period tuition total mode. The LSMU preset adds three years at each published rate instead of multiplying a misleading single annual price. Annual mode supports a manual percentage increase; neither mode predicts future fees.

Other costs may include applications, registration, visas, insurance, travel and equipment. Avoid double-counting a tuition deposit already credited to tuition. Scholarships, earnings, loan interest and post-degree costs are not automatically included.

What changed in the original six-row fee table?

All six legacy institution labels are accounted for below. Unverified dollar/hostel figures are not current quotes.

Original institution labelUpdated treatment
“Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi Medical University”Ambiguous original institution name. Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) are distinct; identify the intended institution before quoting. TSMU separately lists English MD at USD 8,000/year—not a correction that can automatically be assigned to this ambiguous row. [23]
European University, GeorgiaMedicine faculty verified; current international tuition and hostel quote not established here. Original price removed from current comparison. [22]
Taras Shevchenko National University, UkraineHistorical row retained for identification only. No current tuition/hostel quote or uninterrupted clinical-training route verified. Review war-related safety and Indian-mission guidance first. [32][33]
Bogomolets National Medical University, UkraineHistorical row retained; old USD tuition/hostel package not validated. Do not make a new commitment on cost claims alone. [32][33]
Lviv National Medical University, UkraineHistorical row retained; no current fee quotation asserted. FCDO advises against all but essential travel to Lviv region; that is not a medical-study safety clearance. [32]
Gdansk Medical University / Medical University of GdańskReplaced the old all-USD comparison with the official PLN 64,200 annual tuition and PLN 3,100 Orientation Week reference. Current housing is separate. [10]
Ukraine: safety and training continuity come before a fee comparison. Current FCDO advice is against all travel to most regions and all but essential travel to specified western regions, including Lviv. Consult India’s mission for advice applicable to you. The old Kyiv/Lviv fee rows are not promoted as new admission options. [32] [33]

From science foundations to supervised patient care

Course structure, syllabus & clinical training.

06

There is no single “European MBBS syllabus.” The themes below are a comparison framework; sequence, hours, credits and assessment vary. Use the current official study plan for your chosen intake.

Biomedical foundations & early skills

  • Anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, cell biology and genetics.
  • Scientific reasoning, ethics, communication and early clinical skills.
  • Local-language learning where included in the programme.

Connect science to diagnosis and care

  • Pathology, microbiology, pharmacology and disease mechanisms.
  • System-based learning, diagnostic reasoning and clinical cases.
  • Skills-lab assessment and supervised patient interaction.

Clinical subjects & supervised practice

  • Internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Psychiatry, family medicine, emergency and preventive care.
  • Rotations, placement assessment, logbooks and research requirements.

Graduation is not the final licensing step

  • Final assessments and the exact qualification awarded.
  • Any separate internship, foundation or supervised-practice route.
  • Language, host registration and the separate Indian requirements.

On smaller screens, swipe or scroll the table to see every column →

Programme exampleWhat makes its structure specific
RSU · 6 years [2]Foundations in years 1–2, preclinical learning in year 3, clinical years 4–5 and three rotation cycles in year 6, plus research and a national examination.
LSMU · 6 years [7]Integrated biomedical and clinical learning with Lithuanian in the curriculum and clinical practice. The title “clinical practice” alone does not establish the Indian 12-month foreign-internship condition.
University of Malta · 5 years [8]Preclinical and clinical phases, bedside learning and practical skills; Medical Maltese entry condition. Limited registration/foundation training follows a separate route.
Near East University [11] [12]English, organ/system-based integrated teaching and published course schedules. Ask for your exact current handbook and clinical/internship language arrangements.
Do not interchange degrees. Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health, Psychology and biomedical science have different qualification and professional routes. A health-related degree is not automatically a primary medical degree.

The most important checks before an admission commitment

Degree, internship & the right to practise.

07

NMC does not endorse a list of foreign medical universities. There is no blanket “Europe-approved,” “WHO-approved” or “practise worldwide” shortcut. WDOMS states that a listing is not, by itself, recognition, accreditation or endorsement. [25] [29]

1. The programme

Verify institutional and programme status, awarding body, campus, course language, duration, subjects and clinical facilities.

2. Host-country registration

Identify the competent authority and what graduates of your nationality must do for the required registration/licence.

3. Your destination to practise

Check India or another intended country separately—including language, exams, supervised training and immigration.

For new Indian/OCI applicants: examine the complete route

For the cohort governed by the NMC Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations, 2021, the framework includes the following conditions. This summary is not a determination that any listed programme meets them. [26]

  • At least 54 months of medical education, with the prescribed subjects and English-medium instruction.
  • A minimum 12-month internship at the same foreign medical institution, with the prescribed course/training/internship location conditions.
  • The required host-country registration/licensing condition, at par with citizens of the country where the qualification is awarded.
  • The mandated Indian test and at least 12 months of supervised internship in India, along with other applicable registration requirements.
  • The applicable completion-time limit, same-institution/country rules and any notified cohort-specific exceptions.
A five- or six-year degree is not enough evidence on its own. A final-year rotation, supervised junior-doctor position, limited registration or optional overseas elective cannot automatically be treated as satisfying every Indian condition. Obtain the timetable, internship certification, legal training status and licensing route in writing before paying.

On smaller screens, swipe or scroll the table to see every column →

Country / routeImportant distinction
Malta · University of Malta [8]The MD enables an application for limited registration and foundation posts. That is not immediate full registration; map the later training to your intended Indian route before choosing the programme.
Lithuania · LSMU [7]The programme describes applying for a licence and healthcare work under physician-specialist supervision. Clarify the precise registration scope and the host condition required for your case.
Northern Cyprus · NEU [13]Verify recognition, the competent medical authority and your eligibility in the actual jurisdiction. Do not infer Republic of Cyprus or ordinary EU medical-licensing treatment.
Georgia [24] [36]Primary MD/junior-doctor activity and independent state-certified practice are distinct. Georgian-language and further qualification requirements matter.
EU cross-border practice [30]Even where an automatic-recognition mechanism applies, evidence, authority permission and other professional conditions remain. A study permit or degree is not a universal work right.

NBEMS still publishes FMGE information at this review. Do not assume NExT has already replaced every applicable screening route or predict the test at your future graduation date. Pandemic/war-affected and earlier-cohort cases need their own assessment under the current NMC notices. [28] [27]

Your study plan also needs a practical arrival plan

Visa, residence, language & student life.

08

A university offer, a visa, a residence permit and a medical licence serve different purposes. For an EU destination, use the official country-specific study route—not a generic “European student visa” package. [31]

On smaller screens, swipe or scroll the table to see every column →

Plan forQuestions to settle before travel
Visa & study residenceWhich long-stay entry/residence route applies to your citizenship and study location? What are the consular document, funds, insurance, appointment and renewal requirements?
Housing & daily costsIs accommodation university-owned or private? Get written rent, deposit, utility, meal and cancellation terms; budget the actual months you will stay.
Clinical languageWhat language do patients speak? When are language classes required, and what professional-language assessment may apply later?
Health & insuranceAsk about accepted insurance, occupational-health/vaccination requirements for hospital access and emergency care arrangements.
Travel & personal safetyCheck current Indian-mission and destination advice, emergency contacts and the lawful travel route. Do not rely on a blanket “safest country” ranking.
Working while studyingConfirm any work permissions and restrictions with migration authorities. Do not depend on a promised part-time job, stipend or salary to fund compulsory fees.

Make living costs personal

Riga, Kaunas, Malta and Gdańsk do not share one housing market. Use current accommodation quotes, not a continent-wide hostel estimate.

Plan for practical study

Include transport to clinical sites, equipment, health checks, documentation and language learning where needed.

Keep a financial safety margin

Allow for travel disruption, rent deposits, exchange-rate movement and renewal costs. A calculator reserve is not travel insurance.

The calculator’s living-cost defaults are illustrations—not official minimum visa funds, city cost surveys or guaranteed accommodation packages. Indian meals, hostel places and airport transfers must be confirmed with the provider.

A sustainable plan—not just a first-year price

Scholarships, education loans & payment safeguards.

09

Start with a full-period funding plan, then investigate scholarships and loans. Never make a payment assuming an unawarded scholarship or unconfirmed work income will close the gap.

  • Check the official scholarship terms: eligible nationality, exact programme, year, award duration, academic conditions and renewal rules. Medicine may have different terms.
  • For education loans, confirm lender eligibility, collateral/co-borrower requirements, disbursement currency, interest during study and repayment timing. No loan approval is promised.
  • Get a year-by-year fee schedule and separate every application, registration, tuition instalment, housing deposit and optional service charge.
  • Confirm refund triggers for admission, visa or residence refusal; evidence, deadlines and non-refundable deductions should be in the signed contract.
  • Pay only the verified authorised beneficiary shown in official payment instructions. Confirm changes independently; avoid personal-account pressure or urgency tactics.
  • Budget the later route too: additional internship/foundation training, professional examinations, language tests, licensing and any time in India.
No full scholarship, guaranteed bank loan, fixed exchange rate or universal discount is claimed by this guide. Request university confirmation of anything offered by an intermediary.

Build one organised file; follow each authority’s checklist

Documents to prepare for your application.

Use this as a preparation list, not a universal legal checklist. The university, recognition body, embassy and migration authority may require different formats, validity periods and originals.

Choose your professional pathway before your campus

Careers & your pre-application checklist.

11

Clinical practice, specialist training, research, teaching and public-health work are different pathways. Eligibility depends on the role, further qualifications and permissions. No university or country name guarantees a residency, placement, salary or licence. [30] [26]

Checklist selections remain in this page only; they are not saved or submitted. Completing the list is not approval of an admission or licensing route.

Clear answers before a major decision

MBBS in Europe: frequently asked questions.

12
Is MBBS in Europe one standard course?

No. It is a search term covering different national medical qualifications. RSU and LSMU publish six-year programmes; University of Malta publishes a five-year MD. The award, curriculum and later licensing route must be checked separately. [2] [7] [8]

Are all original institutions on this page medical schools?

No. The original mixed medical and general institutions. This directory separates three profiles with official Medicine evidence, six other-study profiles and one regulatory warning. It does not certify any programme for Indian registration.

What is the latest IEU Malta warning?

On 25 September 2026, MFHEA stated that International European University is not licensed to operate in Malta and warned against contrary claims. Its original profile is retained only for identification; do not rely on its old promotional copy. [1]

Is University of Malta the same as IEU Malta?

No. University of Malta has its own five-year Doctor of Medicine and Surgery with separate fees, entry requirements and Medical Maltese conditions. It is a different institution. [8]

Is Near East University a standard Republic of Cyprus/EU route?

No such equivalence should be assumed. NEU is in Northern Cyprus. The European Commission explains that EU legislation is suspended in the area outside the Republic of Cyprus government’s effective control. Verify the actual awarding and licensing jurisdiction. [11] [13]

What happened to ISMA and Kauno Technikos Kolegija?

ISMA became Riga Nordic University in 2025. The KTK-linked engineering institution is now presented in the LIK context after the 2024 merger. Their original profile links remain, but neither is presented as a verified primary Medicine route here. [14] [20]

Is qualifying NEET enough to secure admission?

No. Covered Indian applicants need NEET and the underlying Indian requirements, while each university has its own academic, language, selection and deadline rules. LSMU’s high-score NEET entrance-test exemption is a separate university rule—not India’s general qualifying cutoff. [25] [7]

Do all European medical programmes waive IELTS?

No. RSU describes B2 evidence and eligible English-medium-school rules; other programmes use their own tests, certificates or exemptions. Local clinical/professional language is another issue. [6]

Can I still apply for the 2026 intake everywhere?

No. LSMU, University of Malta MD and Gdańsk deadlines shown here have passed. RSU publishes February 2027 windows with different closing dates by applicant category. Check the actual programme and your own category. [4] [9] [10]

Are these fees an all-inclusive Europe package?

No. They are institution-specific tuition references in EUR or PLN, with the period and extra charges identified. Housing, living, travel, insurance, increases and later licensing/training must be budgeted separately.

How does the calculator handle LSMU’s different annual fees?

It starts with the summed six-year tuition reference: 3 × €12,800 + 3 × €13,300 = €78,300. Living, other costs and reserve are added separately. The initial €154,990 / ₹1,54,99,000 result uses illustrative living and FX assumptions—not an official quotation.

Does a five- or six-year degree guarantee the NMC internship condition?

No. Review the actual course, 12-month foreign internship, institution/country arrangements, local registration and all applicable Indian conditions. Degree duration or final-year clinical rotations alone do not settle compliance. [26]

Does WDOMS listing or EU recognition mean worldwide practice?

No. WDOMS listing is not accreditation or endorsement. Professional recognition and permission, language, supervised training and immigration requirements remain destination-specific. [29] [30]

Why are the original Ukraine prices no longer promoted?

Current fees and uninterrupted training were not verified; safety and regulatory continuity are more important than an old dollar quote. The current FCDO warning distinguishes all-travel and essential-travel-only regions. Indian applicants should consult India’s mission for guidance applicable to them. [32] [33]

Can a Schengen visa replace the long-term study route?

Do not assume so. Schengen short-stay travel is different from national study/residence permission for a multi-year degree. Follow the exact destination and citizenship rules. [31]

Does the planning checker confirm eligibility or send my answers?

No. It only identifies next checks from your declarations. Answers are not saved or transmitted and no combination certifies admission, visa or registration. Counseling links open the existing Search My Colleges enquiry form.

  1. MFHEA — International European University notices ↗

25 September 2026 notice: International European University is not licensed to operate in Malta; representations otherwise are false and misleading. Supersedes relying on the historical temporary-licence promotion. The authority also published a 13 August 2025 temporary-licence revocation. No admission recommendation is made here.

  2. RSU — Medicine programme ↗

English Medical Doctor: six years, 360 ECTS. Foundations, preclinical and clinical learning, with three sixth-year rotation cycles, research and a national examination. Degree structure alone does not establish the NMC internship or local-licensing conditions.

  3. RSU — 2026/27 tuition and additional fees ↗

Medicine EUR 13,500 in each of years 1–6; EUR 100 application and EUR 1,800 registration administration fees. Published schedule and individual contract/payment terms must be read together. Housing, living and later licensing costs are separate.

  4. RSU — application windows ↗

February 2027 Medicine table: applications 4 September–1 October 2026 for additional-assessment-country applicants; to 1 November for other non-EU/EEA; to 1 December for EU/EEA and eligible visa-free-country applicants. The page contains older calendar text; obtain the individual deadline directly. Do not substitute the latest category deadline for every applicant.

  5. RSU — school and subject requirements ↗

Medicine guidance: completed secondary education, English and Biology and/or Chemistry at stated 70% minimums, Mathematics compulsory, Physics preferable; studied subjects for at least two semesters. Actual country-specific equivalence, admissions procedure and competitive selection control; Indian prerequisites are separate.

  6. RSU — English evidence ↗

B2 or higher. English-medium secondary-school route is described; otherwise specified tests apply. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80 and PTE Academic 51 are published examples. These are RSU rules, not universal European waivers.

  7. LSMU — Medicine, fees, entry and calendar ↗

English, six years, 360 ECTS; MSc in Health Sciences and Medical Doctor. EUR 12,800/year in years I–III; EUR 13,300/year in IV–VI. Displayed fee bands are live references, not expressly a fixed six-year contract. Biology/Chemistry test plus motivational interview, with specified exemptions. 2026 main deadline 6 July at 00:00; selected additional admission ended 30 July at 00:00. Lithuanian language is in the curriculum. Graduates may apply for a licence and work under physician-specialist supervision; do not infer unrestricted independent practice.

  8. University of Malta — 2026/27 Doctor of Medicine and Surgery ↗

Five-year, 300-ECTS MD; non-EU tuition EUR 26,000 per academic year. Country-specific qualification equivalence and special science requirements; non-Maltese applicants generally need Medical Maltese proficiency before commencement, with defined alternatives/exemptions. Graduates may apply for limited registration and foundation posts, not automatic full registration.

  9. University of Malta — application deadlines ↗

October 2026 MD overseas-qualification/degrees deadline was 30 January 2026 at 14:00. Local qualifications using Medical Maltese had a separate 16 March date. General July/September university deadlines do not override the specific MD deadline. October 2026 applications are closed at review.

  10. Medical University of Gdańsk — 2026 Medicine admission and fees ↗

Six-year, 360-ECTS English Medicine. Tuition PLN 64,200/year for years 1–6 and PLN 3,100 Orientation Week fee. Admission 18 March–15 July 2026. School-subject ranking, entrance assessment/interview and route-specific exceptions. Do not adopt outdated approval labels on the university marketing page as NMC endorsement.

  11. Near East University — Faculty of Medicine ↗

Official faculty describes its location in Northern Cyprus and English organ/system-based integrated medical education. Older WHO/Avicenna promotional language is not treated as present accreditation or worldwide licensing approval. No current international tuition contract verified here.

  12. Near East University — course programmes ↗

Official English-track course schedules, including 2025–26 foundational and clinical modules. Use the actual intended intake handbook, clinical-language and internship arrangements for an individual assessment; no NMC compliance finding is made.

  13. European Commission — Cyprus jurisdiction context ↗

The whole island is EU territory, but EU legislation is suspended in the northern area where the Republic of Cyprus government does not exercise effective control. Do not market NEU as an ordinary Republic of Cyprus/EU medical-licensing route.

Other-study profiles & legacy identities · sources 14–22
  1. Riga Nordic University — history of ISMA ↗

Official history states that ISMA became Riga Nordic University in 2025. Original ISMA profile retained under its legacy label with the current institutional name; not presented as a verified primary medical degree.

  2. Riga Nordic University — programme directory ↗

Official programme directory includes business, tourism, information systems and psychology. General study profile, not a verified primary Medicine route. Psychology is not a physician qualification.

  3. Turība University — official institution site ↗

Business-focused university with its own non-medical study programmes. Original profile retained for other study interests; no primary Medicine programme verified for this guide.

  4. Mykolas Romeris University — prospective students ↗

Reviewed study fields include law, business, informatics, psychology, social work and related disciplines. Retained as a general study profile, not a verified physician-qualifying Medicine programme.

  5. Kazimieras Simonavičius University — official site ↗

Live site exposed limited content/reCAPTCHA to the research tools; current primary medical programme and tuition not verified. Original profile retained only as an other-study/verification-needed destination. Search-indexed aviation/business material is not used to certify a current intake.

  6. Vytautas Magnus University — degree-study portal ↗

Broad university with arts, social/natural sciences, education, agriculture and other faculties. Original profile retained for other study interests. A natural-sciences degree or a historical institutional link to medicine is not evidence of a current primary medical degree.

  7. Lietuvos inžinerijos kolegija — institutional history ↗

LIK registered on 1 July 2024 following merger of Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences and Kaunas College of Forestry and Environmental Engineering. The page links the Kaunas technical college review. Original Kauno Technikos Kolegija profile retained with the current institutional identity, as engineering rather than Medicine.

  8. LIK — degree admission and programmes ↗

Official programme overview describes fourteen professional bachelor programmes in engineering/environmental fields. Its tuition and mathematics-test rules are not medical-school fees or requirements and are therefore not copied into the medical comparison.

  9. European University, Georgia — Medicine faculty ↗

Medicine faculty, clinical partnerships and English/Georgian MD activity confirmed. A current international annual tuition and hostel contract was not verified from the reviewed faculty page; original USD 5,000/1,000 figures are not republished as current.

Indian rules, registration, migration & editorial record · sources 23–36
  1. Tbilisi State Medical University — programmes and fees ↗

English MD USD 8,000/year; separate American MD USD 13,500/year and English Dentistry USD 7,000/year. Residency programmes are currently offered only in Georgian according to this page. Fee display is not a dated 2026–27 contract.

  2. Matsne — Law on Medical Practice, available English consolidation ↗

Articles 7, 10, 17 and 19 distinguish a diploma/junior-doctor role from state-certified independent practice and require Georgian-language knowledge for independent practice, subject to narrow exceptions. English version 32 is not the latest consolidated publication: the later amendment below was also checked; verify current legal interpretation with authorities.

  3. NMC — For Students to Study Abroad ↗

NMC does not endorse a list of foreign medical universities. Indian citizens/OCIs intending to obtain a primary medical qualification abroad from May 2018 must qualify NEET; the qualifying result is deemed the eligibility certificate subject to the underlying conditions, and is valid for three years from the result date for this purpose.

  4. NMC — Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations, 2021 ↗

For the applicable cohort: minimum 54 months of medical education, 12-month internship at the same foreign institution, English instruction, required subjects, local registration/licensing condition at par with citizens, at least 12 months supervised internship in India and the mandated test. Foreign course/training/internship location and completion-time conditions also apply; earlier cohorts and notified exemptions need separate review.

  5. NMC — Foreign medical graduate FAQs, 8 June 2026 ↗

Clarifies pandemic/war-related compensatory physical training and the 18 March 2026 notice. Does not create a general new exemption. Earlier-cohort internship/registration cases require State Medical Council verification; a compensation certificate is not automatic registration.

  6. NBEMS — FMGE examination portal ↗

Official screening-test information, current bulletins and institute-wise performance reports. FMGE material is still published at review; this guide does not claim that NExT has universally replaced it or forecast the exam applicable at a future graduation date.

  7. World Directory of Medical Schools — About ↗

Explicitly states that a directory listing is not, by itself, recognition, accreditation or endorsement by WDOMS, WFME, FAIMER or its sponsors. Check the exact school/programme record and relevant regulator requirements.

  8. Your Europe — recognition of regulated professions ↗

Recognition, required supporting documents, host permission, professional membership and language checks may be needed. Non-EU qualifications follow national recognition rules. Automatic-recognition provisions have conditions and are not an unrestricted right to practise worldwide or an immigration permission.

  9. European Commission — EU Immigration Portal ↗

Country/category-specific guidance for work/study/family stays over 90 days. Schengen short-stay travel and national long-stay study/residence are different matters. Final consular and migration requirements control.

  10. UK FCDO — Ukraine travel advice ↗

Reviewed 28 September 2026; page updated 15 September 2026. Advises against all travel to most regions, including Kyiv, and all but essential travel to specified western regions including Lviv; ongoing attacks and closed airspace. This is UK government advice, not relabelled as an Indian advisory.

  11. Embassy of India, Kyiv — advisory index ↗

Official Indian advisory/contact route. Index includes dated 2022 notices; these are not represented as new 2026 advisories. Indian students should obtain current mission guidance before a Ukraine-related commitment or travel.

  12. Latvia — additional assessment country list, current Latvian text ↗

Current annex from 30 January 2026 reviewed; India is not listed. English translation is marked outdated. Deadline category must still be confirmed with RSU for the individual applicant, including any nationality or territorial exceptions.

  13. Original Search My Colleges Europe page ↗
  14. Matsne — later amendment effective 1 May 2026 ↗

9 December 2025 amendment adds Article 48(3) concerning disclosure of confidential health information for a specified mental-health/substance-related database. It does not rewrite the degree/licensing/language provisions cited here. English translation unavailable; version 33 English consolidation is marked as updating.

Editorial improvements: all ten original profile destinations retained; duplicate IEU entry merged and flagged; six other-study profiles separated; ISMA/RNU and KTK/LIK identities updated; all six old fee-table labels accounted for. Unverified packages, universal approval/practice claims, copied consultant wording and unrelated course links were removed.

Educational planning information—not an official admission, eligibility, licensing, legal, immigration, financial or safety determination. No admission, scholarship, visa, job or medical registration is guaranteed.
