Indus International University (IIU) was established under regulation Act, 2009, of Himachal Pradesh Government with the right to confer degree as per sections 2f and 22 of the UGC Act 1956.The university campus is situated in Bathau, in Una district. The campus is spread over 160000 sq. feet over 7 blocks.
It has been set up as a not-for-profit institution with the primary objective of providing educational opportunities in rural India. This step was taken to provide higher education to the rural students in order to save their time in traveling to other cities where all the major public universities are located. The University aims to provide high quality and world-class educational facilities to the students.Â

Indus International University (IIU) was founded in the year 2009 and is located in Una, Himachal Pradesh.
IIU offers B.Tech, BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA, BBA courses as its Under-Graduate program where B.Tech is of 4-years duration and the other UG courses are of 3-year duration. The University also offers PG programs viz. M.Tech, MCA, MBA, MSc, and MA of 2-years duration. It also has M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs with the intake of 5 and 3 students in total in its curriculum.
- Students have to either download or collect the application form in person from the college for each course separately. The payment of the application fee shall be done through DD or in cash.
- Those students who have passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized Board are considered eligible to get admission to BSc, BA, B.Com, BBA, and BCA courses. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech is candidates must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Students who have passed BA in relevant discipline are eligible to join MA course, while those who have BSc Degree in any concerned specialization are considered eligible to get admission to MSc program.
- Candidates who have completed B.Tech course in a relevant stream are eligible to apply for admission to M.Tech course. Similarly, for MBA course the minimum eligibility requirement is candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Applicants who have passed Graduation in any specializations with Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or Graduation level are eligible to get admission to MCA course.
- Those who have completed a Master Degree course in English with minimum 55% marks are eligible to get admission to M.Phil. course. Similarly, for admission to Ph.D. course candidates who have passed post-graduation course in respective discipline from a recognized University are considered eligible.
- Admission to B.Tech course is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in the JEE Main or HPTU Entrance test. Candidates are given admission to BSc, BA, B.Com, BCA, and BBA course on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.
- Students with valid GATE score are given admission to M.Tech course on the basis of their GATE score. Admission to other PG courses is given based on the candidates merit in the qualifying examination.
- Admission to Ph.D. and M.Phil. course is also given on merit-basis as per the norms of UGC.
