The complete process for NEET SS 2027 is done in 5 steps:

Step 1: NEET SS 2027 Registration

Visit natboard.edu.in and click on NEET SS 2027. Register with your MD/MS/DNB details and create a login ID. Fill in personal, academic, and broad speciality details, select your eligible super speciality group, upload documents, and pay the application fee of Rs. 4250 (expected).

Step 2: Download Admit Card

NBEMS will release admit cards 4-5 days before the exam on the NBEMS portal. It will contain your exam centre, group, and reporting time.

Step 3: Appear for NEET SS 2027 Group-Based Exam

You will appear for only one group you are eligible for. For example, if you have done MD General Medicine, you can choose Medical Group, Cardiology Group, Gastroenterology Group, etc. All 150 questions will be from your chosen super speciality only.

Step 4: Result & Score Card

Step 5: MCC Super Speciality Counselling

Register for MCC SS Counselling on mcc. nic.in, pay counselling fee, and do choice filling for DM/MCh colleges like Seth GS Mumbai, Madras Medical College, SCB Cuttack, etc. Seat allotment will be done in Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-up Round. You must fulfill these 3 criteria as per NMC:

1. Academic Qualification:

You must have MD/MS/DNB degree in relevant broad speciality from an NMC-recognized medical college.

• For MCh Courses: MS/DNB in General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT.

2. Registration:

You must have permanent registration with NMC or State Medical Council. Provisional registration is not accepted at the time of counselling.

3. Age Limit:

There is no upper age limit for NEET SS 2027 as per NMC. However, some institutes like AFMC may have internal age criteria.

1. What is the difference between NEET SS 2027 and INI-SS 2027? Which exam is for AIIMS DM/MCh?

NEET SS 2027 is for all medical colleges except INIs. INI-SS 2027 is a separate exam conducted by AIIMS Delhi for admission to DM/MCh in AIIMS Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Puducherry and NIMHANS Bangalore. For government teaching jobs, some states still prefer DM/MCh.

In Government medical colleges, fees are very low – Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per year, plus you get stipend of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,30,000 per month. In private colleges and deemed universities, fees are Rs. 8 Lakhs to Rs. 35 Lakhs per year, with stipend of Rs. 50,000 – 70,000 per month.
