Jeppiaar Institute of Technology Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu is a Christian-minority Institution established in 2011. Out of the 506 Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu, affiliated to Anna University, Jeppiaar Institute of Technology Sriperumbudur was ranked at 33, according to the Academic Performance Analysis published by the University Examinations 2016.

Jeppiaar Engineering College offers admission to its various programs based on State and national-level entrance examinations. Admission to the BE, B.Tech. Courses are done on the basis of TNEA scores. For admission to ME, M.Tech. For courses, candidates need to qualify TANCET. Candidates having a valid score in GATE can also apply for ME/ M.Tech.Selection of candidates for MBA and MCA courses is done on the basis of TANCET score.
