MBA in Information Technology Admission Process

Admission to MBA in Information Technologycourses is done both through entrance exams or direct admission which is based on merit basis or management quota basis. The process generally consists of 4 steps that are discussed below.

  • Register & Apply for the MBA Entrance Exam: One of the most important exams for an MBA is the CAT. Candidates can register themselves on the official website iimcat.in. For other exams like NMAT, XAT, CMAT, and SNAP, candidates will have to register separately.
  • Appear for the MBA Entrance Exam: Appear for the respective exams and then wait for the result.
  • Shortlisting Process: The shortlisting will be done based on the number of students who took the exams and the number of seats available. Cutoffs for all the colleges are announced based on the highest marks scored across the entrance exams.
  • Final Admission Process- GD-PI-WAT Round: After clearing relevant entrance exams, candidates are then required to clear the GD / PI rounds as well to secure admission across top MBA in Information Technologycolleges.
