Syamsundar College, established on 12 August 1948, is one of the oldest government-sponsored degree colleges in Shyamsundar, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. • Syamsundar College was established in 1948, by late Raibahadur Bisalaksha Bose who was an esteemed social worker of the village Shyamsundar. The institute is affiliated to the University of Burdwan.
