Jai Minesh Adivasi University, also known as ‘JMAU Kota’ is the first Adivasi University in the private sector in India. The University was established in 2022 by the All India Shri Meena Social and Educational Society Kota and the first academic session commenced from July 2023. The university is approved by UGC with the ‘Private University’ status.
Vision: The University’s vision is to become an institute that provides employment oriented higher education to the youth coming from different sections of the society, particularly from the tribal society.
Mission: Its mission is to provide higher education to the economically and socially weak students at concessional fees for the overall personality development of the students.
JMAU Kota runs UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programs in different disciplines. MBA in Hospital Management, BHM, B.LIB, D.LIB, M.LIB, PGDCA, BCA, MCA, BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BPT, MA, and M.Sc are some of the courses run by the university.
Admissions to the university are based on the norms laid down by UGC and the rules and regulations of JMAU. Of the total seats in each course, 50% seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category of Rajasthan. Furthermore, women students and students form Scheduled Tribe Area (TSP) are given 3% bonus marks, as per the provisions of the university.

Note: 5% concessions in the minimum eligible marks are given to SC / ST / OBC / SBC / EWS category applicants.
Candidates interested to enroll for Certificate programs should have passed 12th class with minimum 40% marks for all categories. However, Certificate courses in Housekeeping, Catering, Reception Management, and Event Management are free for students enrolled in BHM program while Certificate courses in Digital Marketing, Tax Planning, Tally Accounting, GST, Banking & Insurance, Communication skills & Personality Development are free for students enrolled in B.A, B.Sc, and B.Com (Hons). Students can opt 1 Certificate course in 1 year.
Students of Hadoti division who held first position in the Intermediate class are given 50% discount in tuition fees. Students are also awarded Merit Scholarships for both UG and PG programs in the university. The criteria for 25% scholarship which is given to meritorious and deserving candidates are stated below:

JMAU Kota campus was developed on 30 acres of land. The university campus has an Administrative building, Faculty-wise classrooms, Laboratories, English language Lab, Computer Lab, Reception Hall, Student Help Center, and many more facilities for the students’ learning and comfortable stay. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and security is maintained through CCTV cameras. Separate canteen and parking facilities for staff and students are available within the premises. Vehicle arrangements have also been made for commute by students and staff. Some of the facilities available in the campus are:
