KLE University Belgaum Scholarships 2025

KLE Belgaum awards and grants scholarships to eligible students, based on various criteria. Some KLE University Belgaum Scholarships are given below.

• Academic Scholarships: In order to make Undergraduate education accessible to meritorious students from low-income families (EWS), the academic scholarship will be awarded to the students by the University for a particular academic year. Under this Scholarship, the University will fully or partially reimburse the tuition fees paid by the students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of the society.
• Scholarship for the wards of Employees of KLE: Fee concession will be provided to the wards of KLE employees as per KLE Society norms. Free education to the girl child of class IV employees of KLE Society.
• Travel Scholarship for Meritorious Students: Maximum two meritorious students (1st & 2nd rank) per constituent college will be paid as travel grant for scientific paper presentation in the national Conference /workshop in the same academic year in which he/she has been identified.
• For students of KLE Homoeopathic Medical College: Top 10 candidates who have scored more than 300 marks in NEET examination will get Rs.4000/- per month in the form of merit scholarship. All Karnataka domicile students (other than top 10 above) will be given 10% concession in tuition fees.
• ‘Earn While You Learn’: The ‘Earn While You Learn’ scheme provides the poor and needy students with monthly remuneration between Rs.3,000/- to Rs.7,500/- depending upon the nature of assignments to the students. The students are required to work three hours per day. To become eligible, the yearly income of the parents should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakhs.
• Research Scholarship: Available for Original research by Undergraduates & Post graduates. Every student is eligible only once a year for a research scholarship. For Postgraduates the research projects should be other than dissertation. For Undergraduates the research scholarship will be up to Rs.10,000/-. For Post graduates the research scholarship will be up to Rs.25,000/-.
• Extracurricular (Cultural/Sports) Scholarship: The student will be selected from the participants in the national level events by the Director of Students Welfare, KAHER. Students who have excelled in extracurricular(cultural/sports) activity by award of 1st/2nd/3rd prize at National level will be considered for scholarship. For group events, the entire team will be considered for the award.

KLE University Belgaum is spread across a vast area of 100 acres, housing some of the best facilities on-campus. Some of these are listed below.

• Hostels: The KLE Society’s hostels are located on the J. N. Medical College campus in Belagavi and include 4 boys’ hostels and 5 girls’ hostels. Medical undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as interns, are accommodated in these hostels.
• Digital Library: The Digital Library’s infrastructure has been developed in 2000 square feet of carpet space on the library building’s ground floor. Staffers, undergrads, and graduates have their own space. It includes the Librarian, Server, Maintenance, and Front Desk/Waiting Room. The Digital Library features a modern design and has air conditioning and continuous electricity.
• Sports: KLE Belgaum has indoor and outdoor sports complexes, with sports amenities like swimming pool, badminton courts, running track, basketball courts, and a gymnasium.
