Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology & Research, commonly known as VFSTR, is a deemed-to-be university. The University was established in 2008 and was recognized by UGC, AICTE & NBA. Vignan University was also accredited by NAAC with a Grade ‘A’. Furthermore, the University is affiliated with JNTU, Hyderabad, Kakinada, and Anantapur.

- Hostels: The university provides separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys with an intake of 1200 & 1250, respectively. The hostel fees at VFSTR university is INR 95,000 + INR 5,000 (Registration fee) for non-A/C Rooms and INR 125,000 + INR 5,000 (Registration fee) for A/C Rooms.
