SHUATS Overview
Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences ( SHUATS), established in 2016, is a government-aided university. The institution is recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE. It has been accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’ as well as by ICFRE with an ‘A+’ in the Forestry category. In 2025, Collegedunia has ranked SHUATS 1 in Agriculture, 80 in Animation, 98 in Pharmacy, 119 in Education and 406 in B.Tech. According to the IIRF rankings of this year, SHUATS ranks 18th in Pharmacy and 55th in Journalism. NIRF has ranked the university 87th in Pharmacy in 2025 as well.
The flagship course of SHUATS is MSc. The admission process of the university is merit as well as entrance based. The total course fee for the MSc program is INR 1.4 – INR 1.84 Lakhs.

How to take admission at SHUATS 2026
