Percentile-based scholarships offer Rs 5,000 annually, while caste-based scholarships provide Rs 8,500, contingent on caste and income criteria. The MYSY scholarship offers Rs 7,500 annually. The course is structured in semesters, with two semesters per year and a fee of Rs 45,000 per semester, inclusive of exam fees.
A one-time library security deposit of Rs 3,000 is required. Journalism students, particularly from the general caste, do not receive scholarships. The government of Gujarat provides scholarships across all categories.
