PES University was established in 1972 as the PES Institute of Technology, later renamed in 2013. The university is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, and is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. PES (People’s Education Society) University is a private university accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE. The university is spread over an area of 30 acres. It has been ranked 134 in India by Collegedunia in the engineering category in 2025. PES University is ranked in the 101-150 band in the engineering category by NIRF in 2024.

PES University Admission Process 2026
PES University Bangalore admissions are conducted in online and offline modes. Admission to various programs is based on merit in entrance exam scores. Candidates can appear for PESSAT, conducted by the university, for which the registration fee is INR 1,200. Apart from this, students can also submit their KCET, JEE Main, CAT, etc, scores for admission to various programs. PES Bangalore also conducts offline interviews for granting admission to some courses. Applicants must visit the official website of the university, fill out the application form by selecting the preferred course of their choice, and submit the form with the following relevant documents:
