PBR VITS Hostel
PBR Visvodaya Institute of Technology & Science (PBR VITS) in Nellore provides on-campus hostels for men and women students with a capacity of more than 800 boarders. The new hostels have large, well-ventilated rooms and basic facilities including Wi-Fi, RO water supply, and backup generators. The hostel has a clean kitchen and eating space. There are first-aid facilities and a small store. The security measures are good with biometric identification, CCTV, a Fire alarm, and fire warning system, and 24×7 guards. There are resident Wardens and Assistant Wardens to supervise the hostel cleanliness, etc. The cost of staying in the hostel per annum is INR 55,000, and reasonably affordable according to students. Other than lodging, there was some praise from students regarding the improved infrastructure and maintenance, but the food at the mess and the variety of dishes on the menu could be improved.
