Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) is a non-profit institution was established in 2067 BS. It was built on the concept that Nepalese wanted an imminent need to improve patient care system with Nepalese Army Medical corps which could be achieved by igniting medical potentialities oh health professionals with the academic institute of their own. The major need arose after the First World War; the institute was built after the martyred soldiers. It was the first hospital that introduced fiber optic endoscope services and establishes a semi-automatic pathology lab. NAIHS is financed by the Nepalese Army Welfare Fund and is managed by the Nepalese Army Welfare Planning Directorate. There are different colleges under this institute like the College of Medicine, College of Dental, etc. The institution runs courses like MBBS, MD/MS programs in various science subjects. MBBS Intake of Institute

The intake of the University for the MBBS course is only 100 per year.Institute accepts application from the students and demands to strictly give admission on the merit bases of entrance exams like TU-IOM, NEET. The applicant should visit the NAIHS website and fill the application form.
The mark sheets for class X and XII and the other relevant documents should be scanned and uploaded with the application form.
A confirmation will be sent by the Institute and the candidate should visit the university/Institute campus with his/her parents to testify and present the original documents.
The candidate will fill the other necessary documents and sign the agreement of the rules and regulations.
The candidate will have to undergo a medical examination conducted at the Institute/university campus. The successful candidates will be offered the final admission to the MBBS course.
