Ques. What is an honest review of Karunya University?
Ans. Students and alumni say that KITS Coimbatore has a beautiful environment.
Some teachers do teach well and the other subjects are easy to be studied for. YouTube rather than from the class. They are really strict in terms of payment of the fee. If you don’t pay your fee on time , they don’t let you write the exams. They don’t let you write the exam if your dress code is not up to mark. The placements are pretty good for CSE.
Ques. What are the criteria for CSE admission at Karunya University? How is KU, in general?
Ans. For CSE admissions at Karunya University, have a rank within 3,000 for Minority, 1000ish for General category. It helps if you know someone on the academic board as students with horrible ranks get it through connections and paying money. Most of the NRIs come through that way. Although I’d suggest against KU, hands down the worst college, they lost their University accreditation. KU with its regressive views, teaches you not to talk to the opposite gender. The teachers aren’t very sound academically – they prefer giving offs or giving you PPTs. Very few teachers in the CS dept know their subject, and most of them just read outta PPPts to you. There are only a few staff that are passionate about the subject and want to teach. They may offer you a free seat, and even then, it’s not worth it.
