JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur, was established in 2011 by the J.K. Organisation (JKO), a prominent business group in India. It is a private university that holds an ‘A’ grade accreditation from NAAC. JKLU’s Ranking by India Today was 92 out of 284 engineering colleges in India in 2024.
JKLU offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. The final selection will be based on the JEE Main scores, or JKLU EET scores, followed by an interaction with faculty and past academic records. JKLU Courses and Fees
JKLU provides UG Courses such as B.Tech., BCA, BBA, B.Des., and PG courses such as MBA, M.Des., M.Tech., and Ph.D. programs in all disciplines. JKLU Admission for the B.Des program is based on UCEED or JKLU DET entrance scores. The BTech admission accepts JEE Main, CUET, and JKLU EET scores. MTech admissions take into consideration GATE scores.

JKLU Admission Process
The candidate has to follow simple steps in order to apply online. Registration for all the UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses starts in January.
- Application and Admission process: Students can complete the admission process, starting from the completion of the Application to appearing for the Entrance Tests, followed by Personal Counselling Interaction Round (PCI) & Portfolio Round (PR) for Design aspirants, and uploading of documents, through both online and offline modes. Candidates opting for the online mode of application need to visit the University’s website and are required to fill up an application form and make the fee payment of INR 1000/- through Net banking/ Debit card or Credit card.
- Proctored Test/ Interaction Round from Home: JK Lakshmipat University has also initiated to remotely conduct the proctored entrance tests online, along with remote video interaction rounds for admissions to design courses only.
