An undergraduate degree program called the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is intended to give students the information and abilities they need to become licensed practitioners in the field of physiotherapy. A four- to five-year program, the BPT covers a wide range of topics, including human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology, kinesiology and exercise physiology. The BPT curriculum combines academic learning with hands-on instruction, allowing students to become proficient in evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological, cardiac, musculoskeletal and other disorders using a range of physical therapy modalities.
