Adesh University was established in the year 2012 by Adesh Foundation, is a private university situated in Bathinda, Punjab. It was approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Medical Council of India (MCI). The medical college provides placement to students in the medical network. They have their own hospital called Adesh Hospital where night shits, resident medical doctors, paramedical jobs are accessible. Along with this, there is a huge air-conditioned facility of auditorium cum 2 examination hall with an area of 500 sq.meters which can accommodate 500 student capacity. Some of the other facilities are described below:
- Library: The university has a spacious centralized air-conditioned library with a facility of 4 reading rooms. The library consists of 13,502 books with more than 200 national & international journals. Also, the library has subscription 1,349 e-journals. Computers, along with internet facilities are provided to both students and teaching staff.
- Hostel: The university provides hostel facilities with 144 rooms available for boys and 244 rooms for girls separately. Hostel rooms provide facilities like cupboards, separate study rooms with the connectivity of computers and internet, comfortable beds, bathrooms & attached toilet facilities. Adesh medical college hostels are situated inside the Bathinda campus. AIMSR hostel rooms are available on the basis of sharing. One hostel room can accommodate 3 persons. There are 144 rooms available for boys and the remaining 244 rooms are available for girls separately. The hostel can accommodate nearly 600 students. All students need to follow the college hostel rules as per the management.
- Sports: It also offers various kinds of outdoor and indoor sports activities for improving the physical health of students.
- Canteen: The University college offers three canteens and one mess facility for the benefit of the students, staff & the patients.
