Lovely Professional University (LPU) was established in 2005 in Jalandhar, Punjab. LPU is a private university accredited by NAAC “A++” Grade and approved by UGC, NCTE, PCI, COA, BCI, and other prominent organizations. LPU is ranked at 38th position in NIRF Ranking 2023 among all Private and Government Universities in India. LPU is also India’s 5th oldest private university with a campus area of 600 acres.

LPU Admission 2024

Candidates seeking admission to LPU are selected based on eligibility for the particular course followed by the score of LPUNEST or any other national-level examination accepted by the university. LPU Admit is the admission portal of Lovely Professional University where students can check their application status. Lovely Professional University Course Admission is open for various UG, PG, Online, Distance Education and Ph.D. courses.

LPU registration is held in online mode only. Students must visit the official website @https://admission.lpu.in/ to register for admission. Once the candidate has registered successfully, he or she must log in using the application number/ registered Email ID / registered Mobile number and password sent via Email or SMS. Post that, students have to fill out the application form. The application form can be filled out online or offline.

Students must register on LPU ADMIT with basic information and pay the application fee as follows:

LPUNEST 2024

Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test, popularly known as LPUNEST, is an entrance as well as a scholarship test conducted for admission to the LPU UG, PG and Ph.D. courses like MBA, B.Tech, BBA, etc. However, LPUNEST is not conducted for UG Hotel Management courses and MPharm (Ayurveda). Interested students can appear for LPUNEST 2024 in online as well as offline modes. LPU recommends students to choose the online mode for their convenience. Further, candidates can also attempt LPUNEST 2024 at the allocated test centre. The LPUNEST exam can be attempted from August 3 – August 31, 2024.

The LPUNEST syllabus varies for different courses and the LPUNEST exam pattern consists of four sections with objective-type questions (MCQs). The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. The LPUNEST Result for most of the courses is declared within 48 working days of attempting the examination except for B.Tech.

LPU Cutoff 2024

LPUNEST Cutoff 2024 is the minimum mark that must be scored by the applicants to secure admission at Lovely Professional University. LPU cutoff is determined through various factors such as the Number of Applicants, Number of Vacant Seats, Average Performance in the Entrance Test and Previous Years’ Cutoff.

Students applying for LPUNEST scholarships must qualify for one of the three categories as mentioned below:

LPUNEST Category I Cutoff: 95% Marks or Above
LPUNEST Category II Cutoff: 90% to 94.9% Marks
LPUNEST Category III Cutoff: 80% to 89.9% Marks

Lovely Professional University conducts its counselling process in online mode for each phase of LPUNEST. Seats are allocated separately for each round of counselling. Candidates who will qualify for LPUNEST 2024 and score more than the required cut-off are called for counselling and seat allocation.

LPU Scholarships 2024

LPU Scholarships are available for meritorious and deserving students. LPU offers scholarships for M.Sc program based on the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2024. The scholarship is offered for M.Sc (Hons.) – Physics, Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics and Data Analytics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Forensic Sciences.

LPUNEST scholarships are offered based on three categories. The details on various categories of LPUNEST are tabulated below:
