VIT Vellore Quick Updates
VIT Vellore Admission 2024 is ongoing. Admissions to B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. at VIT are held through VITEEE, VITMEE and VITREE respectively. VITMEE 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for VIT Admissions by visiting the official website.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a private deemed university in Katpadi, Tamil Nadu, India. VIT Vellore Admission 2024
VIT Vellore Admission 2024 is open. VIT Vellore has started accepting applications for VITEEE 2024. Admission at VIT Vellore is based on merit in the university-level examination which includes VITEEE, VITMEE, and VITREE. VIT Vellore also accepts merit in National Level Examinations like CAT, NMAT, CMAT, XAT, etc for MBA courses. VIT Vellore also offers PhD courses through VITREE. The last date to apply for VIT Vellore PhD Admission 2024 is November 30, 2023.
How to Apply for VITEEE 2024?
Here are the steps to apply for VITEEE 2024.
- Step 1: Visit the official website of VIT Vellore @https://vit.ac.in/.
- Step 2: Click on the “VITEEE 2024 Apply Now” tab appearing on the top of the home page.The applicant will be redirected to a new window.
- Step 4: Click on the “New User” tab if not registered already. Fill in the information like Name, DOB, Gender, Email Address, Mobile Number etc.
- Step 5: Once the registration is successful, a password will be sent from VIT to the registered mobile number and Email ID.
- Step 6: Login in with your registered email ID and password received from VIT.
- Step 7: Fill in the application form carefully with all relevant details. An application number will be generated after submission.
- Step 8: An application fee of INR 1,350 (non-refundable) has to be paid through online mode.
- Step 9: Upload the necessary documents.
Selection Criteria for VITEEE 2024
- Candidate’s selection will be on the basis of VITEEE 2024 rank.
- Based on the ranking, chosen individuals are eligible to take part in online counseling. Options for a certain campus, program, and cost category will be provided. Allotment will be based on the matching of the rank obtained and available options.
- Candidates with rank upto 1 Lakh are eligible for counselling to Vellore and Chennai Campus.
- Once the tuition fee is paid in full by the deadline, VIT will confirm the candidates’ eligibility. On the day of their visit to the campus or upon request from the Office of Admissions, candidates must provide the necessary documentation. A provisional admission provided during counseling will only be accepted if all requirements are met.
VITEEE 2024 Exam Pattern

Dr. MGR Block: VIT Vellore’s most scenic area is Dr. MGR Block, an administrative block. It is right in front of the main gate of the campus i.e Gate No.1. The block comprises administrative offices and classes for Mechanical & Civi Engineering students. Furthermore, this block also houses the Dean’s office.
