The Uttarakhand State Legislature established Quantum University through the Quantum University Act 2016 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. It is recognized by UGC and BCI. The university is also approved by PCI. It provides various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in the fields of Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Media Studies & Design, Commerce & Finance, Science, Humanities & Social Science, Agricultural Studies, Health Sciences and Hospitality & Tourism and Law. The university has 8 schools to provide higher education in different fields. Admission to Quantum University is entrance and merit-based. The institute conducts a Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Test (Q-Care) & Quantum University Research Aptitude Test (QRAT) for UG and Ph.D. courses respectively. The campus of the university comprises aesthetically designed infrastructure including state-of-the-art internet and computer facilities, workshops, libraries, laboratories, seminar halls and many more facilities. Quantum University offers B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons), B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Com (Hons.), BA (Hons), BHM, etc at UG level. It offers M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc. and MCA courses at the PG level. Quantum University Admission 2024
Quantum University Admission 2024 is ongoing. Students can also apply for the Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Exam (Q-Care) to avail of various scholarships. The university offers both online and offline modes of application. Candidates can apply online or download the application form from the official website. Candidates also have a choice to visit the university campus/office and obtain the form by depositing DD for application fees.
Quantum University Online Application Process 2024
- Visit the official website of the university.
- Fill out the application form and pay the application fee of INR 1200 through a debit card/ credit card.
- Note down the registration number for all future correspondence.
Quantum University Offline Application Process 2024
- Candidates can also visit the University Admission Office/Campus with a DD of INR 1200 as the application fee.
Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Exam (Q-Care) 2024
Students interested in taking admission to Quantum University can also appear for the Q-Care Exam 2024. The duration of the exam is one hour and students can choose their preferred date and time as per their convenience. The exam is held in online mode only. The question paper will be comprised of MCQs. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam. For the correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark. Unanswered questions will not fetch any marks. In the case of one or more answers provided by the candidate, the answer will be treated as incorrect. The syllabus of the exam will be similar to Class XI and XII.

Quantum University Campus
Quantum University has a beautiful campus surrounded by greenery located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. The university conducts sports events like Qualympics, where students residing on campus are divided into various houses and have to compete against each other. Another event conducted by the institute is Udaan, which is an inter-collegiate event that takes place once a year and teams from various colleges take part in this with full enthusiasm and vigour. Sports facilities like Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Fitness Centre, Football and Badminton are available on the campus. Q-Cafe, the cafeteria is open every day and offers a variety of drinks and snacks between scheduled meals. The menu is changed every 15 days by the student committee along with its faculty members. Due to the location of the university, students can also explore other places like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, etc.
Quantum University Facilities
Some of the facilities offered by Quantum University are briefly described below:
- Auditorium: It has a central air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 550 students equipped with modern facilities like multimedia projector and sound systems. It is a hub of activities for events like a conference, a seminar, a placement drive or a fun activity conducted by the students to celebrate their annual functions, farewell parties etc.
- Seminar Halls: The institute has various seminar halls with an accommodation capacity of 150 to 170 students. Mostly the seminar halls are used for regular guest lectures and industry interactions.
- Library:Â The library is rich in resources in the subjects of engineering, management, administration and allied areas. The library houses industry-relevant reports, standards, journals, magazines, newsletters, etc.
- Transportation Facilities:Â The campus offers bus facilities to students and faculty members coming from nearby places.
