Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, or MITS Gwalior, is one of Madhya Pradesh’s oldest and most famous engineering colleges, established in 1957. It is located in Gwalior City and has approximately 47 acres of land approved by the National Board of Accreditation. The institute is affiliated with R.G.P.V., Bhopal, but has had academic autonomy since 2002 to provide courses of its choosing. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded the institute an A++ grade (CGPA of 3.53), and UGC, New Delhi granted it autonomy. The college offers more than 30 courses in the fields of engineering, architecture, planning, science, and management. In the NIRF 2023 Engineering category ranking, MITS Gwalior has been ranked among the top 250 engineering colleges. The top course at MITS Gwalior is B.Tech, aspirants can apply and appear for JEE Main Exam for B.Tech admissions.

The B.Tech fee at MITS Gwalior is INR 1.37 Lakhs (Approx). Some of the main recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture. MITS Gwalior ranks 31st in IIRF Architecture ranking 2023. As per the current reports, MITS Gwalior has received a fund of INR 2.5 crores from AICTE for organizing a Centre of Excellence in AI and the IoT. The center will be aware of studies and innovation in the rising fields of AI and IoT. MITS Gwalior has also signed MoUs with numerous countrywide and international institutions and agencies for educational and studies collaboration.
