Students get admitted to the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) in Pune based on their performance in qualifying exams. The college has established specific requirements for student admission:
Admission will be granted to the candidates based on their standing in the Combined BBA/BCA/MBA/MCA merit list and the number of seats available for the program at the candidate’s preferred institution. The application form must include the candidate’s choice of institute.
If all applicants receive the same amount of points on the entrance exam, they will be ranked based on the percentage of marks they received on the SSC or a comparable test.
The applicant will be ranked using automated random numbers if their entrance exam scores and their percentage of SSC marks are equal.
The MBA merit list shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a personal interview and group discussion.
Additionally, IMED has clauses that provide direct admission to candidates in the second year of the MCA program. Candidates must hold a BCA or BSc degree with at least 50% aggregate in order to be eligible to apply for lateral entry admission.
