A specialized undergraduate diploma program called the Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma) is designed to prepare students for careers in pharmacy practice or the pharmaceutical business. A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacy practice is imparted to students through the two- to three-year DPharma program. The DPharma program places a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, giving students the opportunity to gain proficiency in critical pharmacy skills such mixing drugs, filling prescriptions, keeping track of inventory, advising patients on medication use and offering pharmaceutical care.
