Courses, Banasthali Vidyapeeth Admission 2024, Placement, and Campus Life

There are first-rate facilities on campus for sporting events. Parades and yearly fairs are among the activities held in the Laxmi Bai Maidan. For regular cultural events and movie screenings, it also features a stage and a projection room. The fields in the Vidula Maidan may be used for events for large-scale physical exhibits as well as sports like hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, yoga, and martial arts.
There is also enough space for indoor games like table tennis and badminton. The pool is open to staff, students, and their families. There are 41 horses and a field known as “Veer Bala Maidan,” where people have long engaged in the uncommon pastime of horseback riding.

The Central Library

The Central Library provides 8 Mbps Internet access via a number of channels, such as a leased line from VSNL and BSNL. LIBSYS, a complete software package for Integrated Library Management that contains all the modules required for library housekeeping duties, has been used by the library. The library’s online database has around 1.60 lakh book records and 13,500 previous editions of periodicals.

Of the approximately 600 publications that the library now gets, about 550 are subscription-based, with the other titles being free. UGC-INFONET Consortia offers around 9,000 titles for online access.

Local Radio

A “Community FM Radio Station,” Radio Banasthali transmits entertaining and educational programs that are locally created by Banasthali staff and students. It transmits at 90.4 MHz and covers the college and the surrounding area within 30 kilometers of Banasthali.

Hospital

“Apaji Arogya Mandir,” a hospital with 60 beds run by Banasthali University, is staffed by qualified medical specialists. The hospital is open around-the-clock all year round.

Air Strips 

Students are taught to glide and fly at Banasthali University’s 50,191,418 square meter licensed airstrip. This was one of the earliest events held prior to Banasthali being granted university status in 1960. On January 9, 2009, BVGFC started operating as a regular flying club.

Infrastructure for IT

The IT infrastructure of Banasthali is comparable to that of any prestigious institution. In addition to the cutting-edge servers and workstations at Apaji Institute of Mathematics & Applied Computer Technology, every department and office in Banasthali has sufficient computer resources and high bandwidth Internet access via a fiber optic campus network.

This IT infrastructure has been significantly expanded by Artech-Dalmia I.T. Center. Shri M.H. Dalmia and Artech LTD provided some of the funds for the center’s development. In cutting-edge labs and classrooms, the Center offers courses in scientific computing, computer-aided design, microelectronics & VLSI design, and computational biology.
